The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Anthony Bedard of the Winnipeg Wild as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending January 11.
Anthony is a 16 year old playing in his first season with the Wild. The 5’ 9” 160lb forward was a key contributor in the Wild’s games this past week scoring three times and adding three more assists in three games. He is currently second in scoring with the Wild with 27 goals and 21 assists for a total of 48 points in 33 games so far this season and he has a plus/minus rating of +51. Anthony is a strong skater with offensive skill and a great compete level. He is counted on to play in all situations and has been a welcome addition to the Wild’s roster this season. Anthony is a grade 11 student at Shaftesbury High School and is a drafted player of the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL and a listed player of the Niverville Nighthawks of the MJHL.
