The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Antonio Correia of the Winnipeg Bruins as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week, for the week ending February 22.
Antonio played very well and the Bruins picked up 2 big wins to cement first place for the 2025/26 season. He had 4 goals and 1 assist on Saturday February 21st vs the Southwest Cougars in a 13-0 win. On Sunday, Antonio again was driving his team and on this night, he had the first goal, leading his Bruins team to a 2-1 victory over the Winnipeg Wild. He compiled a total of 5 goals and 1 assist over the week in 2 games. Antonio is a 2009 born Forward in his second year with the U18 AAA Bruins. He was drafted in the 2nd round of the WHL draft to the Calgary Hitmen.
Antonio Correia is a leader on the U18 Bruins and is a driving force each and every night. His work ethic and drive will be key elements as he leads the Bruins into the playoffs.
