The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Chase Kettles of the Winnipeg Wild as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending February 8.
Chase is a 16 year old playing in his first season with the Wild. The 6’ 3” 175 lb goaltender played two for the Wild’s four games this past week stopping 45 of 46 shots and posting his league leading 7th shutout of the season. He currently has a save percentage of 0.936, a goals against average of 1.59 and has a record of 19 wins, 4 losses and 1 OTL. Chase is a grade 11 student at Westwood Collegiate and is a drafted player of the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL and an affiliated player of the Northern Blizzard of the MJHL.
