The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Cody Farrell of the Winnipeg Wild as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending October 12.
Cody is a 17 year old playing in his second season with the Wild. The 6’ 3” 200lb forward was a key contributor in the Wild’s games this past week scoring three times and adding four assists. He currently has 6 goals and 9 assists for a total of 15 points in six games to lead the Wild so far this season and he has a plus/minus rating of +15. Cody is surely to be counted on to play in all critical situations with the Wild this season and his previous experience in the league and with the Wild will be crucial to the Wild’s success. Cody is a grade 12 student at St. Paul’s High School and is a listed player with the Northern Blizzard of the MJHL.
