Connor Hoemsen

The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce forward Connor Hoemsen of the Southwest Cougars as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27.

Connor, a 6’2″, 190 lb., 2007 born Virden product, continued his strong start to the season this week, extending his point streak to 6 games, netting 3 goals and adding 2 assists for 5 points over the 2 games played. Conner is currently tied for 2nd in the league in points with 18 and sits 3rd in the league in goals with 9. While the Cougars alternate captain brings a positive energy to the room everyday, he keeps things light and is a joy to be around. When it’s time to get to work, Connor takes the roll with pride and leads the Cougars every night, playing in all situations. His hard work in the offseason and throughout his time with the Cougars has paid dividends, as he has already surpassed his goal total from last year, and has proven to be a pivotal piece to the Cougars on ice success. Connor has signed his LOI to play for the Neepawa Titans of the MJHL next season.
