The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Crewe Schimnowski of the Winnipeg Bruins as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week, for the week ending November 2,
Crewe registered 1 assist in a Wednesday night battle vs the Eastman Selects. On Sunday, he again was driving his team and on this day scored 3 goals and had 4 assists, leading his Bruins to a victory over the Kenora Thistles. Crewe is a 2010 born forward in his first year with the U18 AAA Bruins. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the WHL draft to the Portland Winterhawks. Crewe also represented Team Manitoba at the U16 WHL Cup in late October where they captured Gold. Crewe Schimnowski has become a force on the U18 Bruins team and he continues to drive the play every game. His work ethic and drive will be a key element as he leads the Bruins team through the 2025/26 season.
