The Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League is pleased to announce Riley Fluker as the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending February 15.
In his final season with the Cougars, Riley delivered a standout performance, recording 4 goals and 3 assists in 3 games. His impact was felt in every situation as he started the week with a clutch goal in the 2nd period on Wednesday that kick-started a Cougars comeback victory. Riley capped off the week in dominant fashion on Sunday, registering his first career U18 AAA hat trick while adding an assist for a four-point performance. His offensive production was matched by his trademark intensity and compete level. A true heart-and-soul player, Riley plays the game on the edge and leads by example every shift. He takes immense pride in his role as a dependable and relentless penalty killer, consistently shutting down opponents’ top power play units. He’s developed into a dependable two way forward that can play in all situations. Riley is a native of Boissevain and is in his final year with the Cougars.
