FORWARD
Tyler Wamboldt of the Norman Northstars is the CCM Hockey Forward of the Month for the month of November. In 11 games throughout the month of November Tyler was held off the score sheet for only one game. The 16-year-old found the back of the net 9 times including a short-handed goal. The shifty right winger also managed to set up his teammates 10 times as well. Tyler currently sits fourth in league scoring recording 18G, 17A for 35 Points in 25 games. The second-year player is currently the top scorer for the Norman Northstars and is heavily relied upon in all situations including the special teams. Tyler was drafted 5th overall by the Neepawa Titans in the 2024 MJHL draft. The 16 year old Thompson born product excels both on the ice and off the ice academically. Tyler is currently in grade 11 with a heavy school schedule focusing on Math, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. The 2023-2024 Norman Northstar Rookie of the year has continued where he left off from last season. Tyler’s deceptive shot and speed make him a threat every time he is on the ice.
DEFENCE
Aiden Laing of the Brandon Wheat Kings is the CCM Hockey Defenceman of the Month for the month of November. This past month, 17 year old Aiden recorded 2 goals and added 9 assists for an 11 point November which puts him first in defensive scoring for Brandon with 3 goals and 13 assists for 16 points in 22 games. Drafted by the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL and the Neepawa Titans of the MJHL, Aiden leads the team with minutes played with an impressive 496 minutes in 22 games, averaging him at 23 minutes a game while holding a +14 plus/minus rating. “Lainger” is an exceptional grade 12 student at Vincent Massey High School holding an 85% average. Following hockey Lainger hopes to pursue a career in criminal justice.
GOALTENDER
Micky Gross of the Southwest Cougars is the CCM Hockey Goaltender of the Month for the month of November. Micky posted a 4-1-2 record in 7 starts, with a .931 save percentage and a 2.55 GAA. His stellar performance throughout the month propelled him into top 5 in the league in the three major statistical categories. On the season, Micky ranks 2nd in save percentage with a .927, 5th in GAA with a 2.64 and 3rd in wins with 9. Additionally, Micky has the 4th highest minutes played among goaltenders. Micky is the backbone of the Cougars. Known for his calm demeanor under pressure, he has the ability to settle the Cougars down when needed and he consistently comes up with a big save in crucial moments of the game. The third year Cougar from Cornwallis is a coaches dream with his work ethic and positive attitude at the rink everyday. He has a great sense of humour and is beloved figure in the Cougar locker room. Micky has signed his LOI with the Virden Oil Capitals of the MJHL next season, and has AP’d for them this season.

FORWARD
Quinten Fisk of the Parkland Rangers is the CCM Hockey Forward of the Month for the month of October. In 9 games played in October, he contributed 12 goals and 8 assists, for 20 points. Quinten is a 16 year old grade 11 student from Dauphin, MB, whose MJHL rights are with the Dauphin Kings. His hard work on and off the ice has been a great example for the rest of his teammates. He is always positive and his work ethic has translated to great on ice play and has rubbed off on his teammates. Quinten plays hard on both sides of the puck and is not only an offensive threat but a great defensive player.
DEFENCE
Jack Swaenepoel of the Southwest Cougars is the CCM Hockey Defenceman of the Month, for the month of October. The 2nd year Cougar out of Souris had an excellent start to the season through the month of October. Jack scored 5 times, added 6 assists, for 11 points in 10 games through October. He had 2 games where he scored 2 goals and had 3 points, and road a 5 game point streak to end the month. Jack plays big minutes for the Cougars running the powerplay and being a staple on the penalty kill. 5 on 5 Jack is trusted to play against the other teams top lines, and has done an excellent job helping the Cougars to a 9-1 record in October. Jack is a draft pick of the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL and Winkler Flyers of the MJHL.
GOALTENDER
Justin Perreault of the Winnipeg Wild is the CCM Hockey Goaltender of the Month for the month of October. ‘Juice’ is a 17 year old playing in his third season in the league and his first with the Wild. The 5’ 11” 170lb goalie has been solid in all of the Wild’s games during the month of October. In his first 6 games of the regular season Justin went 4-1-0-1 giving up 9 goals and posting 2 shutouts in the process. He currently leads the league in shutouts with 3, has a GAA of 1.28 and has a Save % of .945. Justin is an extremely focused individual who brings a strong work ethic to both games and practices and who helps to lead the Wild through his hard work and determination both on and off the ice. His compete level is second to none and his commitment to the game and his team is unwavering. Justin is a grade 12 student at Centre Scolaire Leo-Remillard, is a drafted player of the Wenatchee Wild of the WHL as well as a drafted player of the Winnipeg Freeze of the MJHL.
